A patron of the arts, a player of the stage, a deliverer of lines and earner of accolades.

A producer of shows, a member of the board, a singer of songs and a dancer of dances.

A thespian; an actor.

A mix of professionalism and party, taking time off and getting things done, leading and following, setting an example and continuing tradition.

To take the stage is to be all of this, to fill all the positions from the usher to the director, to watch and be watched, to applaud and be applauded.

Some stages are bare and severe; so will this start.

At one time a stage will house a comedy, at other times a serious drama; so too will this be home to the amusing and the stern.

Theater is life and soul to many; I will try and make this mine.

Your humble player,
